I have a 92 5.0 with about everything done as can be on motor etc. when I plug in my scanner to try to check and clear codes, the koeo scan works fine but when I run koer the engine stumbles and it will not scan. My baro sensor must be messed up but there are no significant engine performance problems. why cant I run my koer test? Without seeing what codes Im throwing my scanner cant clear them.

disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes will clear them. but a baro sensor shouldn't stop the test from happening. something else is wrong.

I have tried to disconnect the battery but as soon as I re-fire the engine it throws codes again. Just earlier i disconnected the baro and the engine seemed to run even better. I have close to 10k into the engine with the supercharger, bottom end, and awesome top end so I dont want to leave it like that with the sensor disconnected obviously. I guess Il have to buy a new sensor and see if that will allow for me to run the koer scan.
