I found a set of headers that I am ready to purchase but, was wondering if there is anything I need to know about them before I do.

Reason being, I dropped my h-pipe off at the machine shop yesterday to have the bung for my wideband welded in and almost want to say forget it and get some shorties. I didn't think I was going to find a set ceramics coated long tubes for 175 shipped but, I did 2 hours after I dropped the pipe off.

Anyway, they are the 1-3/4" headers. I know that I am going to have to jack the motor up. That isn't a problem. Will I need to get a different starter? This will be on a convertible so, I don't really know if the different height motor mounts will cause problems either. Anybody that knows anything on this would be greatly appreciated or if you could just talk me out of it would be cool too.
