Fixed^^^^

It's not that ppl intend to give ppl like you a hard time, but when someone comes on and has terrible grammar and punctuation, other members tend to not take them seriously. Plus it can be hard to follow what you're asking for in a run on sentence. If you have a son old enough to buy you an intake as a present, that tells me you are old enough to type proper English and not sound like an illiterate hill billy when asking for advice. JMO, take it for what it's worth.

Welcome to MF's.

well if your going to stick with an ssi trash intake, good luck reaching 700 hp numbers. that intake is good for average powergains

I was saying trash that intake to save yourself the headaches of hood clearances, fuel leaks and having an inferior intake that may possibly not work with the setup you want and the power goals you want.

but then again, I am only in this hobby as an amateur, so really, what do I know? for all I know, BBK could have fixed all their problems with this intake...

Irregardless of the intake being a gift you'd be stupid to put it on such a projected build, you'd bottle neck the power potential , you will never reach your goal with that intake sitting on top
