whats up, im new to the forum
i have been looking a lot into getting a 87-93 mustang prefer the gt but lx will work im looking at building a nice weekend car and i was looking for some info on the build its prob gonna take me a while to do the build but here is what im looking at doing so far
motor i was thinking about getting the liberator shortblock 347 from ford strokers but im not sure about top end i was trying to go on somewhat of a budget and for the heads i was looking at either the eddlebrock preformer rpm heads or the trick flow tws? any other options would be nice...idk about intake and carb and what not tho
transmission
i was wanting to run the t5 i was trying to see how much power they can handle tho
rear end
ive been told the stock 8.8 can handle plenty
suspension
if i can afford it i want to run the air ride technology level 1
im new to mustangs so any pointers or help would be nice thanks

I run a stock t-5, take it easy on launch and don't power shift and you'll be fine, I just ran a 10.94 @127 using a stock t-5, I also run a ford strokers 347 and anything less than a 185 head and your stroker will be an embarrassment, run a tfs FAC head or a afr 185, these heads will work good and be budget friendly in out of the box form the tw heads and edelbrock heads are 302 build material

as far as hooking do these cars hook well on stock suspension because if they are fine on stock suspension then that will be the last thing i worry about or maybe put a inch drop on it for a while until i can afford the air ride
