I have a 91 foxbody with minor bolt ons that include longtubes gt40 upper and lower, 3.73's tko 500 for no reason, cai. i just read about a fox that had a e-303 cam, and gt40x, typhoon intake and bigger injectors and maf.He made on the dyno 223hp and 295tq with and bone stock he made 203 and 265. whats confusing me is i have two friends with an ls1 and a lt1 camaro. the ls1 is bone stock but the lt1 has exhaust bigger tb cold air and something else he wont tell me. i kno they have like 300 out the box over my 225 not including lose to the wheels. how in the world do i beat the lt1 and stay door to door to the ls1 and i kno i dont have over 215 horses or is there sumthin im not getting. Just woundering why i fell in love with the foxbody. Thanks

LS1s dyno about 310RWHP out the factory..

But Fox bodies are cheaper to modify and can make good power and are light cars. Ls1 camaros arent exactly light either.

that car u read about cant be correct. gaining 20 hp from and hci is ridiculously bad.

i dyno'd at 215rwhp and 274rwtq with a bone stock motor exhaust and gears...

lt1's are nothing special, as far as the fox you read about, that is embarrassing for the mods it has.......just goes to show you how a **** poor mismatch of parts performs = sad, as for the ls-1, if your buddy had a clue how to drive, you wouldn't stay that close
