Default Damn clutch.

Well my clutch has started to creak and be very hard no matter how I adjust it. What's wrong? Is there some type of lube that goes on it or something? It seems the clutch almost gets impossible to push down the longer you use the car.

Cable is only a few months old and is Ford OEM.

could be a bad cable if it were routed to close to the headers , heat may of compromised the internal sheath

still could be a cable or throw out bearing binding on retainer or faulty pressure plate

Could try some spray grease at the clucth cable end where it connects and pivots at the fork.

Hm. Well new symptoms are coming. It's now hard to shift into any gear and I have to clutch in, in two steps. Basically I step on the clutch and it goes down a little. Then I lift my foot and have to jam it down really hard but even then, it's a 50/50 that I'll be able to get the damn thing in gear.

I have been told it's definitely the pressure plate. Any ideas?

Remove the cable and try to work some grease in there. On that note, just replace it.

Hm, I'll do that too.

Any suggestions on a clutch?
