9" ford is the best route you can go if you make a change

Your gonna spend more on parts to convert it over than you would to buy a nice shortblock. Hell, I just got a 3100 mile GT40 5.0 for $760.00 with lots of good parts in it.

That's debateable.

Take your drive shaft to a shop. Have it shortened or lengthened. Have the 350 yoke welded on.

There's no need to put in a new rear end.

What Im saying is, if youre broke, why do this swap now, instead of keeping what you got until you can really do it right?

Whats wrong with the 5.0

I only seem critical, but in reality I was your age when I got my car, and Im glad I waited and saved instead of making hasty decisions then

sell mustang
buy camaro roller
drop in a motor that actually belongs in the car
grow mullet

if youre going to put a chevy in a mustang, at least let it be an LS

or ask a family member for a loan to rebuild the 5.0

i know exactly how you feel, i had 1k saved up for a 347 swap, and then blew up my engine, and had to spend that to rebuild the engine out of my brothers car, which luckily he had just totalled, i still owe him money for that tho.

Who cares if he built the engine, if hes giving it to you, you can do what you want with it.
