thanks dude! exactly what im looking for..could have sworn the 2.3 had an aluminum head..that makes me feel alot better.

you got a running coupe for 1000??

yup its got 87k original miles..only problems so far are:

-rust,passengers side rocker is non-existent, hole the size of a basket ball in the floor
-radiator is shot, missing fins, plus line broke from the overflow bottle to the rad..filled up the fluid and after driving and when i shut it off, it all leaks out
-front shocks suck, jeep rides better and thats saying something haha
-passengers side seat is broken, the back rest that is, gf hates that haha
-passengers front speakers dont work


but i feel like i got a great deal for $1000 and i wanted a small project too. plus the tranny has no slipping and shifts great. besides an exhaust rattle, the car makes no noise really and blows no smoke
