Default anybody use anaerobic sealant when putting a transmission together

I bought a tube of the stuff and was told just to use black silicone but, went ahead and used it anyway. I later found out that the stuff never dries. lol Doesn't seem like that will hold, am I wrong?

they were messing with me on it...that is great

I actually believed them because it had sat for a few months and was still not cured by the touch on the outside

If do keep the thing, I hope it doesn't run fluid all over the place. Next time I am just going to use the black.
