My T5 has 150,000 miles on it and is needing a rebuild. I found a TKO 500 swap with the bellhousing, clutch, driveshaft, and shifter for $1500 and has 15k miles on it. My current upgrades are the exhaust from the headers back done, but I plan on building up my 302 and putting a supercharger on it. My question is, should I go for the TKO or should I have my T5 rebuilt? I have looked on one of threads a year ago and said the TKO 500 was a lot better than a T5, but I'm just looking for help on my decision. Thanks.

TKO FTW especially if you are going to build up ur motor and throw a power adder at it. you will have to do it eventually. cuz with a built motor you can blow up t-5s pretty easy

and thats a pretty good deal too

t-5 has worked well for me , if driven right it'll hold up, I have a treme-3550 waiting if it ever goes

if it is going to the track and you drive it like you stole it, the t-5 won't last very long
