The Mac does come with the little stand, but it's not needed OR I haven't used it and I've never ran in to any problem in 10 year by not using it.

No sag and it doesn't come loose anywhere. I was mad about that too but I checked it and gave everything a good tug, tried to move it some, nothing seemed to want to go anywhere so I'm not worried about it(right now anyway).
True dat! I never needed a stand either. It will be fine w/o it.
