nah i'd wanna hear truth but what makes you say that? if you can increase the amount of air flowing into the cylinder why would it ruin performance? also i like the sound of a camed engine alot so it wouldnt be a complete waste of time but if it kills performance then i wouldnt wanna do it

Well the truth is the stock cam is already too big for the stock heads, running a larger cam just makes things worse. Not only do you have to spend a lot of money on gaskets, valve springs, and usually a tune to get the car running decent you'll probably end up making less power than before the cam swap. The general rule of thumb is wait to do a cam for when you do heads and an intake manifold too.
