Default 5.0 recomended cams

so far ive heard the e303 to be a good one im looking for that really nice classic muscle car sound hard to describe typing but i think you get the point what kind of cam should i look for the e303 is kinda expensive too

also do i need a new cam if im putting in new lifters?

All i can tell you is that my buddy has a full HCI package with the e-303 cam on his 95, and while it does sound really good, it's performance isn't the greatest.

ill start by saying you do not need a new cam when replacing lifters. just remember to place the lifter back in the same order as removed(lifters have wear patterns over time) now in order to answer the camshaft question we all need to know more about your goals or current setup on the car. i personally wouldnt recommend any alphabet cam. the technology is out dated, and MANY other cams would be better suited. i would personally have a cam custom ground for my setup. oh yea, the e303 cams can be had for cheap. somewhere in the $160 range.

sorry about the wrong page thingy but yeah i want that awesome sound and some serious acceleration preferably in the quarter mile area idk if thats specific enough but i would like to keep it in the $150 range

do not put an E-303 in your 95... you will NOT be happy

go with the steeda #19 and 1.7 ratio rockers
