header bolts

anybody here have any luck with there after market header bolts stayin in tight without having to use locktight or any product like that when doin long tubes or shorties???? thanks

since I've done headers, almost 2 years ago, I've had to tighten 1 or 2 bolts up a couple times. When i tear everything down for a rebuild, Im definetly getting stage 8 locking bolts.

ive put almost 1600 miles on my car since I put the new heads and cam on it, and NONE of my bolts came loose...

gotta use your MAN HANDS!!!.

actually, stage 8 locking header bolts are a really good idea, conversely, if you dont want to spend $50 on a set of bolts, I used regular grade 10 allen head bolts from the hardware store. and like I said... they havent come loose

ive got just regular header bolts in mine.they have been on the car since 2003.ive had the car a little over a year and ive tightened them up when i bought the car then i checked them a few months ago and a few of them loosened just a hair.
