Default Differential Cover? & Christmas ideas!

Hello! So for Christmas im getting these:
http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-c...nsion-kit.html

Im pretty excited!

Extremely good price. I wasn't really looking for adjustable. Im hoping this help the rear end stick a bit more.

Also, i am rebuilding the posi carrier in the back, so i am looking for a rear end rebuild kit.

Are there any that stand out above the rest? Or clutches just clutchs?

Anyway, im thinking about dropping the rear end on some stands and just wring brushing the entire thing and then spray bombing it black, and putting it back in. Then ill have my new springs ( from b4 , already in ) , new clutches and new control arms!
I probs wont touch the brakes, just repaint the diff housing. And also check out my floors and **** while the diffs out.

Im not worried about gears, its a DD and im alright with them now.
Brakes are good enough, and tires and ponys are brand new.

Ok my question is wtf is the point on buying a new diff cover? I know you can use them for the pan hard bar or something? Hook it up to the diff cover.

Im again not interested in that.

I also heard though that a new cover applies better pressure to the diff?
Is this bs? haha, all i know is that there are tons of companys making the covers, i was just wondering if its worth looking into, there not too expensive, or is it just cosmetic?

Thanks guys!

oh also, anything i mention that i was worried about , like a pan hard bar ( if thats what the holes in the diff cover are even for) , or DD gears, if you think you can sway me into buying them, let to debate begin!

A rearend rebuild is quite a job. It is not only clutches, there are bearings on both ends of the carrier, seals and bearings on the pinion. On top of all to that, all clearances have to be adjusted properly. I know that you arent worried about gears now but I would strongly suggest waiting until you are interested before doing a rebuild. Good idea on the control arms and the painting though.
