i hate spray cans, the paint always seems to runn on my no matter how little amount i use and however many coats i do...and how long i wait in between.

sounds a little mudane, but i used a foam roller and rusoleum oil-based paint to paint my entire car...

that second picture was after the second coat, you should see how shiney it is with it waxed!

I have done a ton of restoration work over the years and have had the most successful by far with SEM.

Their trim paint works amazing on interior parts. Most automotive paint stores carry SEM products. You can't usually buy it at most part stores or paint stores and it's generally used by repair/paint shops. I would go to an automotive paint store and find out what SEM paint would be best for your application, the guys there know more than any of us ever will. This stuff is extremely high quality, because of that, a can will set you back $12 or more. Worth it IMO.

I believe it was $15 or $19 for the can. It was a little larger than a normal can, want to say 20oz or 24oz and he matched it perfect, even to the original paint. I took the fuel door off and brought it in and they custom blended the paint. I was able to Paint the rear lip of my trunk lid, and blend in a piece of the spoiler and still have over 1/2 can left.
