some of my friends tell me that I'm not getting all the power I can out of my car while its stock.they tell me I can gain about 3 or 4 hp just by changing the fp regulator and then about 5 more just by changing the maf sensor. How much of this is true?
those are the last mods I'd worry about initially if car is stock to increase power, timing, remove air silencer, and run a short belt are more benificial mods
air silencer is removed and so is the smog pump.the guy I go to school with has a better 1/8 mile than i do but has less done to his car.I have 3:73s and he has 3:27s.His 1/8 mi. is like .2 tenths better than mine
well he is about 15 yrs. older than me but I figured I have more track time than he does.hes never ran the 1/4 mi. and thats all i run.Could it also be the tracked prep since we go to different tracks?

I'm pretty sure that the maf will give you a little more power but I don't think the reg. would do anything for the car with it being stock
