Default 113000 mile motor rebuild?

I have a 94 5.0 with 113000 miles on the motor. The car runs great. Just wondering what the average life of a 5.0 motor is. I will be adding some bolt ons in the near future, I just dont want to spend my money on a rebuild if i dont have to ...

if there is nothing wrong with it...mod away. 100k is about the mid life of these cars if you take care of them. 200k+ is starting to get tired usually.

sweeet! Im planning on achieving 400hp n/a. Im pretty sure this subject has been beat to hell, but what would be a good cam to go with a set of procomp 190cc heads? for a daily driver and still have all the accesories?

procomp = trashcan

how much would you be willing to spend on this 351?

thats a TF top end kit. for 2.5k you can get ~360hp, and good drive ability outa your 302

unless you feel the need to absolutely break 400hp you shouldn't need too much more.

what are your goals for the car?

If you have a 351, I don't see why you'de waste your time on a 302 aside from just seeing what you can do with it.
