Heater core. I've replaced 2 in mine over the years. The best thing you can do is to order the police package restrictor from 5.0resto that goes in the hose to reduce flow/pressure in the heater core. It was standard issue on police package Mustangs to keep the heater sore from blowing out during high speed pursuit. I added mine when I installed heater core #3. Both of the others blew from sustained high rpm runs. They are not very much $ and well worth not having to disassemble the interior to replace the heater core. 7hrs labor saved.

i used a bottle of radiator stop leak and use the heat everyday. No more fogging worked since october now it 12 degrees
