haha whys that?

I did not know the pistons would have to be cut...I'm guessin i gotta pull the slugs and send them to a machine shop for that that...DAMN that sucks
actually I do have a comment, if the bottom end you are using will be a stock 302 with stock type pistons, there are ways around flycutting, I have a friend that had the canfields and we installed them on a stock bottom end and had a custom CI cam designed so that the valve events were taylored to not have any radial or vertical PTV issues...worked great

Ill add a +1 to that as I am running a 2.02 intake valve with a stock bottom end. I have a PBM/Erson cam

will not flycutting my pistons hurt me in horsepower at all if my valve timing/events are altered slightly via camshaft? like a lower rpm range cam with less lope or something like that?

how do you like your setup do you have any dyno runs or track passes with that setup? how does it behave on the street
