i'd run the 987-16, comp cams has a tendency to rate their spring requirements low, so i'd take the high road on what they recommend

sounds good I was leaning toward them anyway does anyone know if AFR did anything to idenify if they have the new 8mm valves? I mean its the same part number and I dont have the heads here to measure and need to know what locks to get

One more quick question is the a difference in the comp lifters they are $100 more then the ford racing ones I know matching components are best but just wondering if they are worth it. I was looking at the kits and they include valve seals I wouldnt need those too would I

i used the summit lifters and had a terrible top end noise, swapped out to crane link bar lifters... noise is gone

I was mostly wondering if the comp ones were a factory upgrade id rather spend a hundred extra if its worth it but if the ford factory ones are as good then it wouldnt be worth it
