AFR 165 with stock push rods??

Default AFR 165 with stock push rods??

Can i use my stock 302 push rods with a new set of AFR 165cc heads?

no, you need to properly measure for the correct pushrod length. the tool is cheap.

no, not only may the stock push rods be too long/short, they arent strong enough to open the stiffer springs of the afr heads. you needed hardened pushrods no matter what the length may be.

These guys are right, but i can tell you that for my build i did use the stock length 6.25" pushrods but i bought hardened ones so i didn't have to worry about the stiffer springs.

how about the rr's? do I have to upgrade those? or can I use the stock ones?

And you guys will be proud of me, I went against everyone's advice and had purchased a set of POS procomps, they sold yesturday! AFR HERE WE COME!! ... but please let me know if stock RR are ok for AFR165's pedestal mount....

why the hell would you buy an aftermarket head with pedestal mounts?
