Anyone using Lunati Cam 51OA1LUN ?

I'm a little confused about your comments. I did fail to report that my mustang is still speed density. That being said the stock cam has 266 duration and around 4.72 lift with 1.7 rr..The Lunati cam has 272/282 on duration and 506 lift with 1.7rr. so how is it the same cam as stock????

The power band for your new cam is the same for the stock. Just changing out the stock cam really doesn't help much at all. You get better gains out of just using the 1.7's. Just because you have more lift and duration doesn't necessarily mean better performance. I'm not a pro at cams so I am not saying it isn't going to be better but without upgrading the intake and heads you won't see much. Did you at least change the valve springs to match?

My list of upgrades are 93 gt 40 heads with 1.7 rr which have been ported on exhaust side with new trick flow spring package.1 5/8 equal length headers with full 2 1/2 exhaust.Professional products intake with 65mm throttle body and 3.73 gears.

mass air conversion is easy and cheap just buy a used A9L or A9P computer depending on tranny then all you need is a maf sensor and a 4 wire plug that can be bought easily on ebay or late model resto you can do it for $150 if you shop right

I really don't want to switch to mass air.The car has always ran great ,with no idle ,issues even after every modification that's been done. and I want to see how far I can take it.I contacted Lunati before purchasing the cam and they told me it would work with my current set up.
