I pieced my 5 lug conversion together. For the front you will need the spindles, calipers, hubs, rotors, pads, two brake line fitting adapters, and two 5/8 washers per side to use on the ball joint stud. The stud is slightly longer on the fox. I used sn95 struts as well because the fox struts were wider where they meet the sn95 spindle, causing a gap.
Are you planning on discs for the rear? If so all you need to do back there is relocate a rubber line that comes from the rear axle to the hard lines on the car. You will need axels, rotors, calipers, brake line fitting adapters, and pads for the rear as well.
I used a brake booster from my 88 donor car.
5 lug kits are 2500 up, I did mine for just under 600.

It stops like a normal car would but I'm sure I could get more out of it. I plan on upgrading next winter when I do gauges. It's what I had so I used it.
EDIT: Is stopping power sufficient? Answer: Yes.

it aint pretty im not going to lie. its an 89 hatch car that im going to drop my 302 long block and 5spd swap in. it will be a fuel injected car and have a/c to keep the girlfriend happy. Several the parts for the swap are coming off the POS such as the k-member kit amd 4.10s for sure. id like to do a 5lug swap to it and put some stock wheels on it. it wont have a lot of money in it just some time but should be a nice little car to drive around everywhere
depending on what deals i can find id like to have it on the road by late spring.
