Default How to keep my battery charged longer?

Hi Guys,

I have a 91 GT that I hardly ever drive. I'm getting tired of the car sitting around for months then jump in and battery is dead. Isn't there a device that I can hook up to keep the battery charged when not in use? Or something that allows me to disconnect and reconnect the battery at the flick of a switch?

You could simply disconnect it, but I would suggest you go get a drip charger for like $10

Get something called a battery tender. I have them for our bikes and am getting ready to buy one for my stang. It's just what you need.

Great suggestion, but it looks like the battery tender needs to be plugged in to an electrical outlet and then connected to the battery. Is that right? If so, that's gonna be a pain in the azz. I think I'm going with a couple Battery Terminal Disconnect Switches as seen in this video.

What's the problem w/ it being plugged in? Just take the battery out and set it where it can be kept on charge.
