back when i had long tubes, no cats and 2 chamber flows, i never once got stopped by the police. pulled up next to plenty at stop lights, theyd look over but never said anything.
now i run almost no exhaust system on my car and the only mufflers i have are race bullets (straight through "muffler") that dumps at the transmission and i still have never been pulled over for being too loud

Don't mean to ask a dumb question here but Ive heard alot of people talk down on flowmaster and say stuff like there not really that great and not designed to well and i was just wondering what made people come to that conclusion when alot of people seem to have them on their car? Ive tried searching the forum and haven't found and answer and don't mean to highjack the thread or anything.

The guy I bought my mustang from said he did have an off road h- pipe with flowmasters and he got pulled over and had to put the cats back on. He lived in a somewhat urban setting too. But now the car is too quiet for me, I believe I have the 40 series. I like the sound, but if it was louder it would be nice, I wasn't gonna go buy another off road h- pipe since all that stuff is new. So I'm putting slp lm1s on in the spring. Where I live though I could probably get away with not having cats, some guys look under the car during inspection and some don't. It depends on who you see or "know." haha.
