First you can do a propper brake job on the thing. The fox brakes suck yes but they are not THAT bad unless the system isn't properly maintained.

BUT a few things to upgrade stock brakes cheaply

SVO 72MM calipers with the steel piston (stock 5.0 is 60mm) about $35 each
Maximum motorsports brake upgrade kit (SS lines, hawk pads and shoes, SS caliper bushings) about $275 now
then you can get aftermarket drilled/slotted rotors if you want

those 3 items will upgrade the stock setup in the front and back decently cheap.

What is your budget??????

I just got some stock replacement headlights with the clear corner markers

they make the Ultra clear headlights which are nice, but double the normal price for lights...

steer clear of the one piece lights, they look like crap and fit like it too, a friend of mine has them on his '87 and they are fugly

I agree with 83resto, overhaul your brakes first

as far as my friend knows it was always manual?

beats me. but the manual brakes suck. apart from gears, it will probably be one of the first things i address.

gotcha, I dunno what you'll need, outside of the booster and some fittings...

All fox's had power brakes. IF it was converted to manual you need to get a brake booster, a master cylinder, the brake lines that go in between the master cyl and the prop valve and possibly the prop valve itself, idk.

Get a pic of the engine bay!!!!

strange! why the **** would someone convert to manual brakes!?

and i posted one in the first post lol

heres some more

and some more of the car

its sad, in the two years my friend had this car, he only did maintenence on it. no mods or anything. all the mods are from the owner before him.

i can't wait to get my hands on this thing. i'll have it lookin fresh within a few weeks.

the biggest thing that bugs me about this car, when the top goes down you can see all the guts if thats what you wanna call it. where can i get the cover that goes over that gaping area?

Yup, it was def converted to manual brakes. From what I can see you will need a booster, master cylinder, and the brake lines that run between the MC and the prop valve. You might also need the rod that goes between the pedal and the whole booster assembly also.
