gt40 smog issue?
On the stock E7 heads there is a hole on the back of one of them with a line going from it to the smog pump. I was told this was... something with the word termactor in it.... anyway, the hole is not there on the GT40 heads. It seems necessary for passing emissions. So whats the deal?Do I need worry about this?

Thermactor port that's for the smog pump. I believe they are there for the GT40 heads, but the GT40p heads do not have them. You should still pass emissions with no problem, but should also delete the smog pump. The only way you'll fail is if they do a visual inspection.

are you sure there isn't just a plug in there.. it'll look like a threaded hole, but it has a slot in it.. you can remove it
most people use the thermactor plugs which are technically "threaded inserts" when they ditch the smog
if you don't have a viz... you'll be fine, it'll still pass a sniffer test w/ no cats and smog pump unless it's pig rich or broken
