depends on your future plans and transmission. personally I'd go 4.10's

Shelty 01-09-2010 10:37 PM

3:73s if you have a 5 speed, 4:10s if you have an auto. the rear end is an 8.8

forget the intake, your better off losing the air silencer and getting a drop in K&N for the stock airbox.

gears and exhaust are the best bang for the buck

gears and NITROUS are the best bang for the buck !!!

+1 on the gears
+1 on the 4.10's
then get tires...
then squirt 100 on it

you should go 12's

don't even bother with an intake unless you just want it to look better, on stock motor it's good for about 5-7 hp

87gtguy 01-10-2010 11:08 AM

OK so im going with the 373 gears were can i get it the cheapest. And what the actual redline on this car. Can u go up to 7k rpm

lxman1 01-10-2010 12:15 PM

6250 is where the stock rev limiter kicks in. It will be fasted shifting around 5200

Chadwick86 01-10-2010 12:35 PM

+1 on shifting at 5000-5200RPM. These motors don't really make any more power above that stock. I have heard a lot of people on here using Ford Racing gear sets (Buy Ford for a Ford...). Cheaper is never better, specially when your talking about gear sets ;). Good luck on the buildski, and have fun.
