Okay, so my lower drivers side retractor on my very popped off and the spring broke, so I got a replacement from somebody on a mustang site.

Well, when the new one came I checked it for functionality, and the lower one doesn't seem to retract correctly. It goes IN, but you can't pull it out but a little bit at a time. You have to let it go in a little til it clicks, than pull it out a tiny bit, rinse and repeat. Is it supposed to do this?

The belt that came with the retractors wasn't in the best shape, so I unreeled it all the way pushed the pin out and fed the belt through, so now I have just the lower retractor in my and ready to go back into my car, on my seat belt. Do you know how I can fix it? I don't think it's supposed to get stuck like that when it's coming out. It took me about 30 minutes to unwind the entire thing from the lower retractor.
