My brother in law bought an ssp car and I was wondering if they came with 130 amp alternators? If so then how would I go about changing it back to 130 amp since the stock one may have gone bad and it was replaced with a 75 amp alternator? Will we have to splice in the wires and reconnect it like a 3g alt upgrade?

You will probably have to splice in the connector and do it like a 3g upgrade.

Does it have the two large connectors attached to the alternator. Each with three wires?

How about you get a pic of what is on the car. Have you peeled back any covering to see if there was something spliced in previously?
