Bernie I thought the DFX was supposed to maintain good streetability?
It's not bad, but the D/F that's in my wifes car is def more streetable. The pedal effort is about the same. I think the quadrant I installed is cause of most of it. It takes some getting used to. I went w/ the quick release quadrant
The pedal travel is minimal. It releases high on the travel and it engages/disengages w/i the first 4" of travel. That's what takes the getting used to after having it engage about 2" off the floor like it used to. When I first installed it, I kept adjusting the firewall adjuster trying to make it grab closer off the floor but to no avail. It's nice for the strip though cuz I don't have to push the pedal all the way to the floor when shifting.
