Default anyone use this plastic roller lifter?

Am wondering if these are ok or if I should get the older dogbones / tie lifters

I know plastic can handle some extreme temperatures... but I still would NEVER use plastic inside my engine....

Sounds like a Geo Metro mod.

If I'm reading that article correctly, it is just that performance shop that switched to that style... not Ford. Just his preference, maybe?

no Ford did use them. I pulled a couple off some 98ish explorer blocks when I parted the gt40 stuff out.

No its NOT a chp part. its factory ford #F77E-6K564-AA. I got them off a FACTORY 98ish explorer block.

has anyone used them?

Yes, it's a factory part. They were designed to be an easier to produce replacement to the PM dog bones. That said, factory OEM reliability standards are insanely high....but I chose to use the metal dogbones. They may work fine in a factory application, but who knows how they'll hold up under higher rpm and heat in a performance application.

yep factory stuff I looked into them for my Dart Iron Eagle block when I wanted to use the factory roller set up due to so much work to run the spider set up.
