Default efi to carb fuel pick up tube

i got a 87 5.0 and put a carbed 347 in it. does anyone know what pick up tube would fit in the gas tank and reach all the way to the bottom of it. i removed the stock electric pump and the tube don't reach the bottom. i put a rubber tubing on the stock pick up it held up for a while. i'm pretty sure it came off cause i ran out of gas and i just filled it up that morning.

Could you put the stock pump back in and use the return tube as your supply tube? I don't remember if it reaches the bottom or not.

I think Granetelli(sp) makes a pick-up for the stock tank. Jegs and Summit both carried it.

50resto.com carries a carb style pickup tube for fox tanks, but you're better off installing a sump.

take the stock sending unit and add a piece of hose to the bottom of it and use a hose clamp to hold it on......
