Default Intake upgrade project

I have a 94 GT with stock heads and stock rotating assembly. it has Summit 1 5/8" shorty headers, offroad 2 1/2" H-pipe, and a Borla 2 1/2" cat back (cats are gone). I have an MSD coil and Jet chip.

I am looking at installing a Trick flow Track Heat upper and lower intake. i also am install a cold air intake. the question that i have is which to install a 70mm or 75mm throttle body? i eventually will install Trick flow Track heat heads. (down the road)
Also should i use the intake spacer? i was told i had to use a 3/8" spacer for it to fit. i have heard they have an issue with staying tight. and do i need an EGR spacer on my car?

Any insight would be helpful thanks in advance

You are spending a pretty good chunk of money, and you are going to gain next to nothing because of the stock heads.

A bigger throttle body is better, but honestly you might even lose power with a big throttle body, and intake designed for high RPM power. The head's cant flow enough to justify these mods.

If I where you I would spend the money in a better place for now until you can buy a good set of heads. Such as gears, or suspension mods

buy the intake and TB, but leave them off until you get the heads.

install the CAI right away, it made a BIG difference on my car. also clean the MAF when you pull it put the housing its locked up in.

in anticipation for the heads, order a 255lph pump, and some 30# injectors as well as a MAF (get a Pro M set up for 30's and a CAI)

order a custom ground cam far the car from Jay Allen at Cam Innovations.

and get TF FAC heads.

there's no point putting the intake on twice (it has to come off for the heads and cam) so just do it all at once.

yeah youll have to wait a bit longer, but itll be worth it.

and a 75mm TB will do just fine. order an Edelbrock, it wont whistle like a BBK.

and yes, you do need to lengthen the EGR tube, i think Pro. Products make an extension for them.

Thanks again for the info. i will put the CAI on but wait for the intake and TB. i have the intake right now thats why i was asking. i guess i need to bite the bullet and get the heads and cam.

I alreday updated my suspension to UPR coilovers, Lakewwod 50/50 and 90/10 shocks, UPR adjustable four link, Slotted roters, Superior 31 spline axles, Eaton Diff, Richmond 411, Rear girddle, all SS brake lines and hoses.
that dropped the car about an inch and rides really nice.

75 is what the tfs opening is IIRC so 75 is what you should use and no spacer is needed, if you put the spacer on, stock hood won't close
