well your all wrong to a certain degree...

there were indeed cobra's b4 1993 other than canada calling a GT a cobra, which is just a GT but the canadian title will say "cobra"

there were cobra's in 1977 and 1978 .... ugly little things... but they did exist

but the fox cobra was a '93 car only

my opinion is that you found a nice clean car with great mods... the gt40 stuff is great, and if the heads are aluminum they are even better... the cobra's used slightly smaller valved iron 40's on the production cars

No offense, you're a little wrong too. Don't forget the 79 Cobra, which was a fox: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/photo...tang_Cobra.jpg

Ok so the odometer only reads 40k on it.........It has ac compressor deleted, gt40 aluminium heads, aftermarket maf sensor, 28 pound injectors, electric fan, aftermarket aluminium radiator, e303 cam(w/ rockers, lifters), upper and lower cobra intake, 373 gears in the rear, t5 tranny, msd coil and spark plugs, racing oil pan and racing pistons...... that wat the guy "SAYS" is done to the car. I know i wont be able to verify everything but that sound pretty good, doesnt it? Wat would u guys say the car is worth? thanks

let's just say that the "cobra" moniker, as a "performance" package, didn't come along until 1993 with the SVT brand of Cobra.

the 77-81(82?) Cobra package, was appearance mods.
