Default clutch adjustment

hey guys, lately my clutch has been acting up. it grabs fine on take off and thru the gears but shifting has gotten much more notchy feeling. kinda tough actually. plus when i go to crank it it wont crank unless i pound my foot in the floor. obviously because the switch that allows the engine to start when the clutch is depressed, isnt engaged. im just wondering why its doing this all the sudden. is the clutch getting too worn or is the switch going out? i tried adjusting it by lifting the clutch pedal then pressing it to the floor several times. no change. thanks in advance guys! btw, i have stock clutch and all that jazz, just a B&M short throw shifter is all.

get the car moving into 4th or 5th gear and stomp the gas. if the revs come up but the car goes nowhere you need a new clutch.

it is a ratcheting type of thing.

pull up on it hard... then press it in w/ your foot... do that a couple times and you should be good. if it it not, your probably in need of a new one

Is this the same way you would adjust a 89 GT clutch?

But pull up one time , then ratchet it a couple of times by pressing it down. Don't lift it up again. I am sure that is what he meant, he just worded it kind of funny.
