Default Cam with factory headers, cats, piping, and Flow 40's?

Lets say you have a cam but you have the factory headers with all of the original piping and all 4 cats going into flowmaster 40's mufflers.

Would you be able to still hear the lope in a cam or would the cats and stuff sort of distort the sound?

Im sort of thinking I have a cam because i can hear/feel a slight lope but I cant really tell.

Yes it will restrict the sound coming out the pipes!
Any obstruction of a sound wave pattern will change its sound, that is the whole principal in different muffler sounds!

A very small vaccum leak can make it sound as though it has, ran into that once!

Sorta thinking all motors have a camshaft. Even the stock 5.0 has a bit of overlap.

Well my car did come with 5 lug conversion, it has a cage, and 4.10's. The motor has been out of the car. It looks like the just took all the serious stuff out and tried to put it back to stock as much as they could.
