Default Thunder Bird Rear End

If I was to get a complete T-bird rear what all would I need to run the disc brakes? I know I have it somewhere but I don't have time right this second to look. Thanks!

A prop valve
E-brake cables
???

Three E brake cables. Two longs ones and a short one for the handle.

Convert your master cylinder/booster to the sn-95 two port.

Use either a disabled sn-95 prop valve ORRR just run a T fitting from the front brake line on the master cylinder to the two front wheels. Install an adjustble prop valve directly off of the rear brake line and run that to the back.

The disabled sn-95 valve essentially just acts as a T block for the front end and the rear end just flows through it unmolested. The adjustable valve is necessary, regardless of sn-95 valve or not.

Removing the prop valve from the system can clean up the engine bay a bit.

Because I'm not positive of what type of calipers are in the rear, you MAY need to get the two long cables from a t-bird.

The short front cable you can use from the cobra disc conversions. Summit sells one and so does Ford Racing but I forget the part number.

The new parking brake handle cable allows easy adjustment as well as very easy installation of the cables becuase of the threaded end that gets bolted to the stock equalizer. AFTER you drill out the equalizer hole, of course.

Here is the adjustable feature. Eww, poopy old driveshaft...
