well, as some of you know, i bought a 347 shortblock that im going to be building.

Well, the heads i was going to use were edelbrock performers. I was gonna spend 4-500$ and have them ported/polished and extensive bowl work done.... So, i figured i could sell them for 7-800$. 800+500 = 1300! For a head that would still be insufficient! So, i found a really good deal on some Trickflow 190cc Fast As Cast heads, so i bought them.

Just thought id share my happiness




oh - and if anyone wants a set of edelbrock performer heads with ferrea valves and nice valve springs, lmk

What will your compression ratio be with those new heads? You ever gonna go FI?

yeah... the cars getting an S-trim

I havnt done any figuring yet, but the heads are 64cc and the pistons have a 14cc dish... so, somewhere in the low 9's for compression?

Thank you sir! . I bought them off a guy on corral for 1390$ shipped, brand new in box. Came with a set of (lightly) used 320$ Trickflow 1.7 stud mount RR's too. not a bad deal eh?

I figure my next build I'll use those same heads on a 347 in a road race setup. They're hard to beat for out of the box power that's affordable.
