Clutch cable keep snapping at quadrent

i got a 90 gt and i am having problem with clutch cables breaking at the quadrant. I just replace the clutch cable a few months ago and went to adjustable. Today it snapped on the way home from work. I keeps snapping off at the very end of the cable. Anyone know of anything better than an ebay special or autozone part?

a guy on here made a fix for it. i can't remember who but, it seemed like a good idea.

im assuming you are using a triple hook quadrant. If so, remove it, and replace it with a steeda quick release.

and trim, I designed the cable saver... but everyond gave me **** about it, so I never bothered making more than the one thats in my car

If I bought a cable and it broke. Then you showed up at my house and showed me that cable saver and some wire cable with a connector that could be put on after it slid through my sleeve, I would buy it from you. And I wouldn't spend money on a new cable and the time taking the old one out and putting a new one in. I know it seems stupid to some but, I like your idea of shortcuts.

Is your quadrant straight across from the opening in the firewall?
Check to see if it's pulling the cable through at an angle.
