I ran my stock hood for a long time (ever since I had the car). Then when I changed my suspension and put prothane mounts in it raised the motor and hit the hood. I bought a 2.5" cowl and it made the car look meaner. I like the small cowls but when you get up to and past 4" they look tacky.

I say if you dont need the 4" cowl get rid of it.

i would just keep it. After you get all your paint done the cowl hood should take less attention from the car and actually add to the rest of it. Whats making it take attention would prob be that the rest of the car's off colors make it a sore. Just my opinion.
