Need advice

Hey guys once I get the exact information i will let you know. So what I am looking at is a 1990 mustang gt. Engine with upper and lower edelbrock, heads are the same I believe (non stock), MSD distributor, 1.7 rockers, ARP studs, new gaskets, powerdyne charger with a 9lb pulley. Tranny is a T5 with king cobra clutch, 373 gears, hurst line lock, full exhaust, long tube headers, no cats into 3inch flowmaster dumps. The car has no computer, the computer that was with the car had a diablo chip but was sold, so the guy has been placing the regular factory computer from his other mustang to drive the car. I know tuning is quite expensive, can i use the standard computer for now or will it damage the car. Dyno sheets show 447rwhp. can i just do a fresh tune up and oil change witht he factory computer. I am not lookint to drag the car but just make it a weekend toy. Thanks

Yes you can run it just to drive it around but obvously with the s/c a tune would be a good thing to use. Just stay out of the upper powerband and you won't have to worry about possible problems. Our computers are good at compensating for things. I trust it but I still get a tune as soon as you could.
