my buddy just got a 89 lx with a 5.0 it has red stripes down the bottom on each side with XXV (25) writing. just wondering if they were added or if those stripes ever came on a those cars, also has large 2 or 3 inch tall 25th aniv badges over the 5.0 badge on both sides?

didn't think so thanks my buddy traded that car for a blaster that he beat the **** out of, haha needs a new trans but were gunna do a t5 swap

the 89 1/2's through 90's ONLY had a 25th badge on the dash

where the rest are a mustang emblem... those ones say "25 years"

Exactly. I have owned 2 25th Anniversary models....a 90 Notch and my current 90 GT
