Default fuel pump/fuel injectors/throttle body advice

ok I am getting ready to get new fuel injectors probably 24lb, and a 190lph fuel pump. for future upgrades probably going to go upper and lower intake manifolds, cam, maybe heads, exhaust, already have air intake. also what would be a good size throttle body? was thinking 65 or 70mm? let me know what you think/advice?

why are you buying 24# injectors for a stock motor? waste of money. you wont need injectors till you get heads.

70mm tb is good

depends on the budget. gt-40 heads are garbage unless you have a very very tight budget. then they are half a step up from the stock heads. if you have some money to spend and actually want to make some power get some afr or tf heads

i disagree, if you can get a set of gt40's for cheap like $300, then spensd a little on port work

port and polish the exhaust, and clean up the turns on the intakes, comp valve job, match the intake to the heads and you will see big gains should cost about $400-$500 for all of it

my buddy went 11.80's on gt40's , gt40 intake and 125 shot... on a full weight '92 gt

never put stock heads aftermarket or not... always do some port work. a few hundred will go a long long way in respect to the total cost you'll be into

afr 165's or tw's are right at home on a 302. if you do heads, dont sit a gt40 on top of them. go for a good aftermarket intake like a holley.

AFR and Trick Flow are great heads for a small motor. The Edelbrock 5.0 heads aren't bad, and I've seen some at reasonable prices used...one set was $600 fully assembled. We've always had good luck with Trick Flow or Holley Systemax intakes.

Nice ride AYEOH....now I know what my car would look like with Cobra R's...lol
