Default Im going to the Dark Side

Been pricing things out and talking with one of my sponsors who does a lot of modular work. Its gonna be almost 1/4-1/2 cheaper to reach my goal going to a modular. So ive made the choice Im gonna be going Modular, either a 5.3 stroker 4v or a 5.4 4v with a blow through carb and either a large single turbo or a jt ysi blower.

Ill be selling the whole motor and efi in about 3 years, once I am gonna be coming to the end of the whole build. Thanks I'm not really looking to be in mags. From what Ive heard (people i know that have been in mmff) they just make up the stories. They never really put in writing what you tell them. It would be nice but they would have to ask me I wont be looking to get in any. I just wanna go fast and have the car look somewhat decent. right now the paint is about 8/10 not bad for the factory original.

why are you carbing it? I don't blame you for going to a newer motor with newer technology, buy why go back and use an old technology carb setup?

Sick of having to take my car to donnie walsh every time i make one change to engine. With a blow though Carb I can make the fuel changes I need to when it is needed. Plus its nice to be able to adjust the jets when the weather changes.

just buy your own tuning system? to me the only advantage a carb'd setup has over efi is it's usually cheaper . either way tho, the build sounds like it's ognna be awesome.
