wat else for power
Current set up
93 cobra long block, explore intake, full exhaust, 42 lbs injectors, Vortech s-trim with 10 psi, anderson power pipe, msd ingnition stuff, a custom tune, a 76 mm c&l maf, 70 mm trottle body and egr spacer and 3.73's
was wondering what i could do to the car that would gain more power without putting the block in jepordy or the hyper pistons...
am going with boss 302 enetually forged with good h/c/i setup...but dont want to cam the motor now or do heads so what else could i do...what would upgrading from an explore intake to a systemax do for my car as far as power gains with the cobra cast iron gt40 heads and stock cobra cam..would it improve power...reason dont wana do a cam is dont wana pull it out and put it in the new motor in a year or so and the heads either so i am left with basically and intake...any other power gaining advice thats under $1,000 ?
and would that sytemax work decent until i got an h and c...i know torque will be lost but was wondering on hp gain thanx

youve probably maxed out that combo so far
stock gt40's and the intake your using will only allow so much flow, and the restriction is more in the heads rather than intake.
if it was me i'd squirt 50 on it and see if it helped much..... if not you got what you got til you do the heads and intake

you could sell the vortech and buy a on3 performance turbo kit and make 500rwhp with the mods you have now.
or you could spray the motor with a 50shot of nitrous. with the sc, the 50shot will add around 100hp
