If money is no object and you plan to add Boost at some point...DO NOT Waste your money and build this motor with a Stock Block. Start with a Boss or Dart Block right now.

I cheaped out and built my motor with a stock block and now everytime I drive it I am waiting for the stock block to crack in 2. The general rule of thumb is anything over 450rwhp is a ticking time bomb.

A 331 with B-451 cam and TW FAC heads with even as little as 10lbs of boost should put 550 to the rear wheels easy....

Ya I hear where your coming from. well in December I "deploy" (TDY) to Guam for 6 months where I wont have ANY bills except my 02's car payment so I plan on investing it all into my favorite hobby haha. So investing into buying parts while im there will give me something to look forward to when I get back. Im going to take everyones advice and since im looking for the 500-550HP range my 1st buy will be a Dart block. Thanks everyone expect to see me back to posting later in the build!
