Default best way to store a car?

what are some things you all do to store your cars? For instance with mine i am about to move it to a new location and im...

puttting tarp on the ground
getting some carpet or a wrong to put over it
jacking it up and putting jackstands under so the suspension is unloaded
putting a car cover over it

anything else i can do to make i can keep rust off it?

Other things to consider: If youre not planning on starting her up or cant and condensation is going to be a possibility, fill your gas tank to prevent condensation. If mice are around, place unused dryer sheets in the tailpipes and passenger area.

I store my 93GT in the garage from about late October to sometime in April (when the CT.weater breaks.) My routine is:
Fill the gas tank
Put in fuel stabalizer
Inflate tires to max psi
Park tires on plywood, over the cement floor
Crack windows
Throw a couple of dryer sheets in the interior
hook-up battery tender.

pull the wheels off and store them inside.

UV rays, cold and harsh weather deteriorate the rubber

ah... hmm, make sure the tires are off the ground when you put it on stands to avoid flatspotting the tires.

throw a box of baking soda (the kind you put in the fridge) to keep odors away (unless your interior is gutted then no real point lol
