Well new here but not to the mustang world. I had them when I was a kid.

Just picked up an '86 Mustang GT 5.0 HO. Got it free from my buddy. Car needs 3rd gear, but allready picked up a rebuilt tranny. Have questions....

What full synthetic is everyone running and weight?? I run Royal Purple in my truck now...

Also what MSD distributor, wires people using? Also is there a better one out there???

And....my friend likes to exagerate, but I have to ask..I had a 85,86, and 2 91's, my question is did they make a 302 BOSS edition Mustang? OR a BOSS 5.0. He says they did and he said this car has the engine in it. I don't think so, it looks like a normal 5.0 to me...Think he is full s@#t...LOL!!

no foxbody boss 302 was ever made, keep the stock dizzy, ford racing 9mm wires ftw, and ditch the royal crap, after that anything goes, I run amsoil synthetic

thanks man...I told him that and he argued with me. Amsoil... I ran that in my boat. Will give it a try and thanks for ending a few hour argument. Will do on the wires. MSD just isnt worth the coin if the motor is all stock....
